A great day was enjoyed by everyone at Chris Cox’s President’s Day on Saturday 17th of August. The day started with a spider for a bottle of whiskey and then continued with a six rink game with rinks invited by Chris to play against the club.
The result of the game was immaterial; the winners were the Charity and the sport of Bowls. The interim total raised for Cancer Research on the day was £487.00p, which brings the total raised so far this season £1078.00 .
